Why isn’t my camera working? +

Yes. It works in the mobile browser on both, in portrait or landscape. Wi-Fi gives the smoothest picture, though a decent 4G or 5G signal is enough.
What can the other person see about me? +
They see and hear what your camera and microphone capture, plus the basics you’ve shared — your gender and country. Chatfun never shows names, emails or phone numbers. Like any browser video call, a direct connection between two devices can expose network details to the other side; a VPN is a sensible precaution if that worries you.
Are random video chats recorded? +
No. Chatfun doesn’t record video chats — video and audio stream directly between you and your match rather than being stored on our servers. Keep in mind the other person could still record their own screen, so behave as if anything could be captured.
How do I get better video quality? +
